"Open Hearts,
Open Minds,
Open Doors"
United Methodist Youth Fellowship  (UMYF)

Nearly 50 students are members of the UMYF this year! Sponsors are excited to have such a great group to begin the year!  The group is a community-supported group that meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday throughout the school year at the Methodist Church. Any junior high or high school student is welcome to attend--whatever their denomination. For more information, contact a sponsor: Stephanie Laudemann and Kari Hinkle.

At their kickoff meeting in 2004, the Youth Group collected used glasses for
the Lions Club and used Cell Phones for donation to S.O.S.

Each year, the group enjoys a special activity. From camping to Great Wolf Lodge, the group plans something very fun! At left, the UMYF group traveled to Kansas City to a Royals baseball game in early summer 2004. For more pictures of the Royals trip, Click Here.

The Youth Group is very active in the White City community and hosts many events throughout the year, including Cupid's Candlelight Cafe in February and the Easter Sunrise Service. More information on those upcoming events will be posted as it becomes available.
